PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Professional Photographers of America 2010 International Photographic Competition results are in and I was awarded a Photographer of the Year Award. I entered four photographs and all four won. This was the first year I have entered this international competition and I went 4 for 4!

Certified Professional Photographer

Stephen Sedman is a Certified Professional Photographer. This certification is issued by the Professional Photographers of America (www.ppa.com). Those who have earned these certifications have passed a comprehensive written exam measuring their technical expertise, have successfully submitted their work to a panel of judges for review and approval, and adbide by a professional code of ethics.

Don't you love a great Sunset? Laurie and Shawn's ceremony took place at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon, MA. We were so lucky to have a great sunset for a background at Saphire Estate.

Erin and Eric

LeBaron Hills Country Club was the setting for Erin and Eric's beautiful September wedding. After the outdoor ceremony at the gazebo we captured some wonderful portraits of the happy couple at the perfert time of day.

I won three awards at the PPANE!

The Professional Photographers of New England held thier annual convention this past week end. I entered some of my wedding images in the print competion and won all three wedding awards! The awards are: the Kodak Gallery Award, the Fuji Masterpiece Award, and the PPANE Court of Honor for the best wedding image. I am proud to have won the top wedding photography awards for both PPAM and PPANE this year!

I want to thank Skip Foisy for taking this picture of me last night.

Cally and Wyeth - June 20, 2009

It was an honor to photograph Cally and Wyeth's wedding. Wyeth is a friend and an excellent professional photographer. This unique wedding took place on Cally's parents farm in Lyme, NH. The ceremony was in the field surrounded by wildflowers, a tasty meal under a tent, and then it was party time in the barn. A great time was had by all!

Scott did a great job on Stephanie and David's Wedding on June 26, 2009. White Cliffs Country Club is always a beautiful location for photographs.

Laura and Robert's Wedding

Laura and Robert exchanged vowes in Duxbury, MA. The reception was at the Red Lion Inn in Cohassett. I won three awards at P.P.A.M.!

I had a great time at the Professional Photographers of Massachusetts convention last weekend. I entered the annual print competition and won three awards. Court of Honor for best wedding image, a Kodak Gallery Award for best wedding image, and the award for the Highest Scoring First Time Entrant. The title of my winning image was "The Limos Late".
